This song was actually made by my neighbors (Dev and Trev) and I! While I don’t feel comfortable uploading the version with lyrics (I am a dreadful singer, all of my ex-roommates can attest to that), I will tell you a rough summary of the story instead. The story is about Devon, a man who has a dream. Everything goes just dandy until his dream turns into a nightmare. But then, he sees within the nightmare, a glistening donut. Devon returns to his happy place until he finishes the donut. After another dark moment, the sensei narrator explains the temporary state of dreams. Devon eventually wakes up.

It has been a solid 2 weeks since Pokémon Go has been unleashed on the world. Just about everyone who would have an opinion on this app has made at least one by now, and I would like to add my thoughts on that.
This song was introduced to me by my buddy Forrest. Oddly catchy! Sure doesn’t help that cause if your roommate loops it all day though.
Animal Collective – Floridada
Genre: Psychedelic Pop
Vibes: Energetic, Poppin, Psychedelic Beach Boys
Drug References: Low
I usually like to listen to this song while cleaning tupperware. Lets me fling things around if I get too pumped.
Those that know me tend to see that I really like my side projects.
One current project I am in the early stages of development right now is a Smash Bros clone game. With my childhood friend Chandler and hopefully more friendly faces along the way, we are hoping to make a game I had desired to make since the ‘glory’ days.
I don’t have much to show at the moment, but in the image below is a first look at the very first character in development! He is Mr. Carpenter, a personality based off my 6th to 8th grade math teacher that got Chandler and I started on game development.
My coworkers and I have different editing styles.
Casey makes everything black and white with artsy music in the background. Keaton unintentionally has motion shake. I like to leave little easter eggs in my videos.
When you see a title like this, you should expect a song. Next to the genre will be stats appropriate for the genre. For example, this one is wub intensity, others may be like shred intensity, screamo levels, you know. What have you. I will try to warn you what genre / vibe it is before you listen to save you time if that’s not your fancy.
Thomas Vent – The Race

Wub Intensity: Medium
In this post, I’d like to make some shoutouts.
I will do some more shoutouts as this blog progresses. If any of you homies do any public blogging of any kind, let me know! I am not aware!
My buddy Keaton has been starting up a pretty cool Medium blog of his own. I think his writing style is better than mine and he talks about some pretty interesting topics.
You can check his blog here.
Casual gamers out there looking for community, I was showed the site player.me and found a lot of success and fun interacting with the community there. The vibes are definitely tuned for casual social gamers. They recently got bought out by a much larger company but claim to still strive for the community they are building.
More shoutouts will come later. Heck I even made a category called “shoutout.” You can say I’m all in.
Greetings traveler! I have decided to make my own blog. Often times I find myself in a place where I want to share ideas I get with others, but the audience isn’t there at the moment. This way gives me a physical location to drop my thoughts down, and I thought hey, if you are ever curious what I have been up to, check here! I often feel that when I use social media, I am hesitant to post stuff more than rarely. This way, we both recognize that you are entering my domain, so hopefully when I talk about myself, it is entirely welcomed in the Hue-munity.
