One of my favorite things about video games is how unique an experience they can provide as well as accessibility. Below are five free to start playing games that stood out to me as a great experience in one way or another. Also they represent different genres and can be a great entry to a genre. If you’re considering jumping into a new realm of gaming or know what styles of games you like and want to immerse yourself with more options, check out these hot takes.

For those unaware, Kickstarter is a global crowdfunding site to help ideas come to actuality. In this day and age, indie development and low budget teams are on the forefront of opportunity. There has never been an easier time to support projects you believe in and Kickstarter is part of that movement. Projects like Undertale and Exploding Kittens are examples of serious wins for developers and consumers alike that I am proud to have been a part of.
That being said, I Kickstarted multiple projects since early 2015. I will bring up two examples of purchases I made as well as how I felt about the process both pros and cons.
Several months ago, my friend and I made another ‘short’ film. This one is four or five times longer than our previous short, Bob Orders Pizza and may or may not be an unofficial sequel.
Here is the description:
“Cale and Fanta are two daycare workers tired of their jobs. During a casual encounter with a new Chinese restaurant, a mysterious fortune cookie comes packed with an adventurous surprise. The hunt for the promise of treasure unfolds.”
Here is the video:
Also why not Bloopers?
No these won’t be daily.
But I saw a word and thought it was neat. I don’t use it at all, probably because there are ‘relevant’ synonyms that get the job done and make this word not needed.
That word is: “apposite”
A quick Googleroni says this word means “apt in the circumstances or in relation to something.” It’s like the word relevant or pertinent. I thought the word was neat because it has that root flavor with “opposite” and it is also a word hardly ever used in my experience.
I’ll use it in a sentence for you!
“Jody thought it was apposite how the word WiiU could be misheard with the phrase P-U.”
My name is Nick. I am a Nintendo fan that knows hardship. I was in line for a Switch on the midnight release in Best Buy. The dude in front of me got a Switch and I got nothing. In this article I will rant about how sad I am that I get to see all over Reddit how much fun people are having with this so called “masterpiece” that is Breath of the Wild. I cannot play because Nintendo either can’t count or doesn’t give enough shits. I am writing this article to talk about an issue rarely seen in the industry nowadays and that is fans disappointed at Nintendo for simply being so damn interesting.
What is it with remixes taking awesome songs and making them even hotter?
This song’s probably the “poppiest” song you’ll hear here in a while.
Genre: Electronic Dance
Vibes: Summer, Psych, Sandy Beach, good synergy with Chance
How Bitter I am that this song isn’t on Spotify (yet?): 8/10 Understanding but Hopeful
