Sacramento Kings Predictions Vol. 7

For 16 years, the Sacramento Kings did not make the playoffs. They were the gum on the bottom of the shoe of the NBA, a punching bag even Hornets and Wizards fans could hit. And now, the drought is over, the Kings somehow got THIRD in the West regular season and played an entertaining series with the Warriors in the playoffs. They 2 All-Stars to the game (their first all star since 2017, who was DeMarcus Cousins, their only all star during the drought), they won coach of the year, executive of the year, clutch player of the year, DPOY chain for maximum camaraderie, and got a purple laser beam that fires into the sky for each Kings win. Things changed fast, and beyond my wildest dreams for a fan that only knew delusion, I found myself humbled, fearing I’d wake too soon.

Nick’s Rainy Adventure

It’s that autumnal rainbow time of year where nature is so splendid and vibrant, and where I love rain the most. I live in a rather rainy place, and while I love the rain, I love rain the very most after warm days and where it’s not been mostly rain for the last 5 months.
I’ve been thinking about rain a lot lately, and how lovely it can be.

In the online battle simulator of Pokemon, Pokemon Showdown where I can whip up a full stated team in a couple minutes has the rain weather. Rain teams are built around turning the weather to rain (you can learn about all the effects it has here), and then sweeping teams with fast powerful attacks while the rain is still up. In this post, I will share a competitive hyper offensive rain focused team for every major tier of Gen 9 Pokemon (tiers are based on usage/power level), from the bottom at PU, to NU, RU, UU, OU, and UBERS.. plus a little something extra at the end.
